IEI introduces 12.1" flat-bezel panel PC with Intel® Atom D525 processor
IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial computing innovator, introduced the AFL2-12A-D525, an advanced AFOLUX GENII 12.1” flat-bezel panel PC with Intel® Atom D525 processor. The dual-core Intel® Atom™ processor D525 series provides an increased processor speed of 1.8 GHz and supports 800 MHz DDR3 memory. The AFL2-12A-D525 is characterized by its high performance and low power consumption. The multi-touch AFL2-12A-D525 supports a comprehensive list of features including projected capacitive or 5-wire resistive type touch screen, 1.3 megapixel webcam with AF, AE and AWB capabilities, 802.11b/g/n 2T2R high speed wireless, and EM or Mifare RFID reader. The AFL2-12A-D525 is a single system fit for diverse markets and applications including outdoor kiosks, ticketing machines, factory automation, and residential automation.
The AFL2-12A-D525 has an eco-friendly LED-backlit screen which reduces power consumption and decreases eye strain and tiredness for a more comfortable viewing experience. It can be deployed in various self-service and interactive applications. The projected capacitive screen supports multi-touch gesturing, good sunlight readability and true flat panel surface with no bezel. Furthermore, the projective capacitive screen has a protective anti-scratch glass surface so the AFL2-12A-D525 functions even if the screen is damaged or broken. The AFL2-12A-D525 has an integrated RFID reader and Mifare reader with read/write capabilities for updating tag data in the field. Together these features make the AFL2-12A-D525 an advanced interactive asset tracking and identification terminal.
The AFL2-12A-D525 also includes IEI's One Key Recovery software which eliminates the frustration of system recovery after unexpected system failure. This software allows the user to create a full system backup or restore to a previously made backup image with a single click.
