IEI Launches 3-slot Embedded System with Versatile Expansion Interface
【Taipei, Taiwan, February 26th , 2013】IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial computing innovator, released an embedded system with Intel® H61 processor, the TANK-820-H61. It features a 2nd generation Intel® Core™ low-power desktop processor, on-board 2 GB DDR3 memory and one DDR3 SO-DIMM slot supporting up to 10 GB memory. The TANK-820-H61 is characterized by its flexible PCI/PCIe expansion slots that satisfy customized needs. With dual PCIe GbE LAN and RS-232/422/485 serial ports, the TANK-820-H61 provides powerful communication performance and is ideal for high-speed network applications.
The TANK-820-H61 is designed with functions and protections suited to the transportation industry. The TANK-820-H61 featuring a 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processor operates efficiently in harsh environments with its rugged design by being reliable in industrial environments to resist strong vibrations and it also can be used as a core computer requiring to be installed on moving objects. The TANK-820-H61 accepts wide range DC power input, 9 V to 24 V, allowing it to be powered anywhere, no matter a 12 V, 24 V DC source or a 19 V power adapter is available. The TANK-820-H61 reserves an easy-to-install, hot-swappable fan module to ensure that a PCI/PCIe expansion card with high power consumption can operate under high temperature circumstances. The TANK-820-H61 also comes complete with several I/O options including two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one SATA 3Gb/s port, two GbE LAN ports, one VGA port, one DVI-I port, one line-out and one mic-in connector.
The TANK-820-H61 embedded system includes IEI’s unique One Key Recovery software solution. This software eliminates the frustration of system recovery after an unexpected system failure. With a single click, One Key Recovery easily creates a full system backup on demand or recovers the system by restoring to a previously made backup.
