Robust and reliable industrial panel PC for production line MES terminal
The demanding environment of a production line presents a particularly tough challenge for computerization. Dust and grime are inevitable in any production line but these will easily penetrate a computer’s cooling system, quickly clogging up fans, leading to system shutdown or damage. Add to this the challenge of temperatures that fall far outside those of a temperature controlled office environment and the machinery is in for a challenge.
This was exactly the situation our client found themselves in. With a window frame production line, the operators had to use computers to check the specifications of windows that were being moved through the production process. Fingers being pushed on the screen with such regularity would quickly scratch up the screen surface making details unreadable and the computer practically unusable.
