(IEI), the global industrial computing provider for IoT solution, announced a new motherboard, IMBA-Q170-i2, powered by the Intel® 6th Generation Core™ xPro Processor, Intel® Q170 chipset and DDR4. The IMBA-Q170-i2 features HDMI 2.0, which supports three independent displays with three sets of audio and video outputs, as well as 4K resolution via HDMI 2.0 interface. Dual Intel® PCIe GbE, USB 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s, HD Audio and IPMI 2.0 are the key features of the IMBA-Q170-i2.
IEI IMBA-Q170-i2 has a plenty of I/O interfaces to provide flexible and various choices for industrial applications to connect multiple devices for monitoring, operating and controlling. These I/O peripheral interfaces include three PCIe x4, two PCIe x8, two PCI slots, six SATA 6Gb/s, full-size PCIe Mini, as well as four USB 3.0, six USB 2.0, four RS-232, two RS-232/422/485 and one LPT port.
Moreover, IEI IMBA-Q170-i2 supports three independent displays in HD resolution through VGA, HDMI 2.0, DVI-D, and with three sets of audio and video outputs. The IMBA-Q170-i2 is compliant with IPMI 2.0 by IEI IRIS (IPMI Remote Intelligent System), enabling users to control and troubleshoot the system remotely. IEI IRIS provides real-time and intelligent remote management in system monitoring and operation. It can be applied in video broadcasting, advertising, education and digital signage applications.
The IMBA-Q170-i2 is IEI's first 6th generation Intel® processor platform. IEI will also introduce PICMG 1.3, Mini-ITX and EPIC industrial computer boards in the near future to meet more requests from the customers, and create the win-win business.
