IEI QTS Gateway Virtualization Station enables virtualized desktop operations on the NAS for managing multiple virtual machines. With the easy-to-use interface, customers can centrally manage all virtual machines created on the NAS without effort.
The network operation mode is designed using the SDN structural concept; it supports Intel® VT-d (Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O) and allows external PCIe devices and RS-232 ports to connect (pass-through) to the virtual machine to provide high performance computing and transmission. No complicated relocations and settings are required from the physical machine to virtual machine to enjoy the same operation modes.
With the Virtualization Station, you can create multiple virtual machines to run various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, UNIX and Android on IEI QTS Gateway. The Virtualization Station helps to quickly integrate existing IT infrastructure into the NAS without additional hardware costs.
Virtualization Station offers the following strong features to our customers:
• Multiple OS support
• Operate VMs as Remote Desktops
• Virtual machine import/export
• Easily backup and restore VM
• Centrally manage VM with Device Management
• Snapshot
• Support networking modes of virtual switch
• GPU pass-through
• User-based permissions settings
• Connect USB devices (USB pass-through)
