IEI Announces New Industrial Computer Boards designed with new 4th generation Intel® Core™ processors and Intel® Q87 and Mobile Intel® QM87 Express Chipsets

【Taipei, Taiwan, February 17th, 2014】IEI Integration Corp. (IEI), the global industrial computing for IoT solution provider, introduce the PCIE-Q870-i2, IMBA-Q870-i2, IMB-Q870-i2, KINO-DQM871 and NANO-QM871 motherboards with support for the 4th generation Intel® Core™ processor with the Intel® Q87and mobile Intel® QM87 Express chipsets. They are suited to high performance applications, like gaming, surveillance security monitoring, public infotainment, and the ideal platforms for high resolution digital signage applications.

The IEI PCIE-Q870-i2, IMBA-Q870-i2 and IMB-Q870-i2 are designed via PICMG 1.3 full-size and standard ATX/Micro ATX motherboards supporting dual- and quad-core 4th Generation Intel® Core processors. The KINO-DQM871 follow standard Mini-ITX form factor SBCs and supports dual- and quad-core 4th Generation mobile Intel® Core processors and Intel® QM87 Express chipset. The NANO-QM871 is 5.25” EPIC SBC supports Intel® 22nm 4th Generation Mobile Core™ i7/i5/i3 and Celeron® on-board Processor.

These models support Intel® Ethernet Controller I211 on LAN 1, Intel® Ethernet Connection I217-LM with Intel® Active Management Technology 9.0 via LAN 2, three independent displays of HDMI, DP, DVI and VGA, which build-in flexible display function through IEI display port connector defined. They support 3D micro-architecture enhancements in DX11.1, OCL 1.2 and OGL4.0. Moreover, PCIE-Q870-i2, IMBA-Q870-i2 and IMB-Q870-i2 feature IEI’s IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) 2.0 technology which allows IT managers to manage servers and systems in a remote environment over LAN connections. What is iEZman?
The IEI iEZman application provides out-of-band KVM function allowing full control of keyboard, mouse and viewing the video output on the remote system through the hardware-based Intel® Active Management Technology. The video output on the remote system is always viewable even when there is a BSoD (blue screen of death) or missing disk.

iEZman allows a remote user, sush as a support person, to remotely control and perform administrative tasks through a graphical user interface in Windows. All functions can be managed through this single interface after password verification. iEZman provides IT departments with remote client management, OOB (out-of-band) diagnostics and assets tracking regardless of system power or OS state to help reduce TCO and improve productivity.

• Power Management - To power the remote system on, off or reset
• Schedule Power Management - To schedule the systems to wake from a sleep state or turn off at a particular time.

A recovery image CD with IEI official license sticker ships with every IEI single board computer, embedded system, and panel PC. It includes the system recovery software developed by IEI with Windows PE 2.0. The recovery image can be used to create a full system backup and restore from system failures. There is no need to buy additional backup and recovery tools.

All migration tasks can be performed remotely from a central management console reducing the costs associated with a physical visit. Neither specialized IT staff, nor consultants are required to implement the system imaging and data migration. Thus, IEI One Key Recovery simplifies the imaging and migration process and is time and cost saving. Please note that IEI One Key Recovery works on IEI products only. A warning message “You are an illegal user” appears when attempting to run it on a non-IEI product.
